On 10 June, the upgrading of the silanga sports field officailly started with a groundbreaking event at the site. Activities included; a football match between the local community and United Nations staff & Partners; acrobatics by Nairobi youth groups; and a concert by local Hip Hop artists and Gidi gidi. Approximately 3000 people attended the event.
